How prices work
You type the call-out and the hourly rate. The first hour is the call-out. Hours after that use the hourly rate.
A blank rate is not a price. A fitting stays unpriced until you type a price for it. The figure is an indicative estimate, not a fixed quote and not a site visit.
VAT
You choose whether the firm is VAT registered, and you confirm that choice. Until VAT is confirmed, the total stays not known. That is not £0.00.
When you are VAT registered, most domestic plumbing on this sheet is 20%. Use 5% or 0% only when this job qualifies. This is not HMRC advice.
What the customer sees
The customer sheet uses the trading name, phone, address, and logo you saved. It leaves out private notes, the diary, and the app name.
A link exists after you confirm the draft. PlumbSim does not send that sheet. You copy the link, or you open WhatsApp yourself.
Offline
A job you start on this device stays on this device if the connection drops. It syncs to the company book when the connection returns.
Photos stay on the device. The offline copy is not a second set of prices.
Team codes
Owner, office, and engineer share one company book, the diary, and the jobs.
A new person joins by typing a code on their phone. The code is shown on your screen. PlumbSim does not send it.
Data and privacy
Jobs and photos stay on this device. A cloud copy is optional, and it stays with the signed-in account.
A customer acceptance stores the typed name against that quote link. It does not store the address of the phone. The Privacy page has the rest.
Cancelling
Subscriptions are not on sale, so there is no plan to cancel and no card is taken.
You can delete a job from this device. You can delete the account from Settings. Deleting the account does not send a message.
Support
Support for the plumber using PlumbSim is support@plumbsim.com.
This page does not send a message. Use Contact when you want to write. Do not put a customer's photos in that note unless they are needed to fix the software.
