Who you are dealing with

These terms are between you (the plumber using the app) and Bond Labs Limited, company number 17285766, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.

What the app does

PlumbSim helps you draft an indicative estimate from photos and notes. You edit every labour and material line. The total is in pounds sterling. If VAT is charged, the figure shown is inclusive of VAT at the rate you confirm.

The draft is not a fixed quote and not a site visit. Confirming a draft on this device does not email a customer and does not create a VAT invoice.

You contract with your customer

The customer sheet shows your trading name, and the phone, email, logo, address, VAT number, and company number you type in Settings. It must not show PlumbSim or Bond Labs.

You are the contracting plumber. We are not a party to the job. We do not take payment for the plumbing work.

Honesty and competence

Do not invent measurements, boiler models, or registration numbers that are not in the photo or typed by you. If something is not known, leave it blank. The total then stays not known. That is not the same as £0.00.

This app is not Gas Safe, not a G3 certificate, not Building Control, and not a water-company notice. A Gas Safe or G3 number you type is not a certificate. Smell of gas is an emergency: call 0800 111 999. Do not quote a repair from a photo.

Typical domestic plumbing is standard-rated VAT at 20%. Photos never change the VAT rate. 5% or 0% only if that job actually qualifies and you name the relief.

Your data and deletion

Jobs save on your device. Optional cloud copies are made only when you choose Back up this device. Wipe this device removes browser copies. Cloud account deletion removes the account and cloud copies. Neither action can recall shared customer snapshots.

PlumbSim Plus

Plus is not for sale. No card is taken. Confirm on this device is not a subscription wall for a typed estimate.

There is no monthly price. A blank rate is not a price. If a paid plan is offered later, the price will be shown before anyone pays. Nothing is charged now.

Acceptable use

Use the app for lawful UK plumbing estimates. Do not use it to mislead a customer, to stand in for a certificate, or to process a child's data.

Liability

The software is provided as a drafting pad. You check every line before you show it to a customer. We are not liable for the price of a job, for workmanship, or for a failure to follow Gas Safe, G3, Building Regulations, or water fittings rules.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
